The Carmi League of Arts is a not-for-profit organization established on November 17, 1974. We are focused on promoting visual art, drama, and music in Carmi. We support the high school drama department through volunteer work, as well as a scholarship fund, and put on several productions such as musicals, concerts, and variety shows to engage with the community.
Visit our Events page to learn more about recurring and upcoming events, such as Night Under the Stars and art shows.
The following timeline represents the history of the League since its formation. Scans of Betty Brown’s scrapbook supplement the earliest history through the early 2000’s; photo galleries compiled from League members are added to more recent entries.
